ROUNDHOUSE ROUND-UP FOR NNMC

During the legislative session, people and organizations from around the state flock to the Roundhouse to show off their programs in entry halls to the Rotunda, with each day dedicated to a different topic or group.

Tuesday was Northern New Mexico College’s turn, so staff, visitors and lawmakers were able to see things such as a fire simulator from the college that uses landscape, fuels and winds to predict a fire’s behavior and help firefighters determine their strategy.

Or they could get complimentary manicures from cosmetology students, as well as learn about a host of other programs offered at the college.
