Anyone with a love for movement and innovation will be flocking to the Pilobolus performance of “Shadowland” at the Lensic Performing Arts Center, 211 W. San Francisco St., on Tuesday.
The legendary modern dance group comes up with something new and mind-blowing with every visit — and these folks don’t come to Santa Fe nearly often enough — choreographing a cutting-edge dance vocabulary against projected images and layers of scrims. It feels like being inside a dream.

If a voice that soars through octaves and five Grammy Awards for her vocal jazz albums aren’t enough, then maybe Dianne Reeves’ soulful improvisations will help lure you to her concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lensic. The singer’s 2015 album, “Beautiful Life,” nabbed a Grammy and Reeves was featured on the soundtrack (and also won a vocal Grammy) for George Clooney’s 2005 film, “Good Night and Good Luck.”

Cidny Bullens was a wife and mother, songstress and recording artist known as Cindy until taking the plunge to the gender she always felt inside. Now with two consonants transposed and a life as a man, he tells his story with guitar accompaniment in “Somewhere Between.” The autobiographical solo show comes to the Adobe Rose Theatre, 1213 Parkway Drive, at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday, and 3 p.m. Sunday. We recently remarked on the number of guitar-centric concerts in Santa Fe and yet another one is on its way. The African Guitar Summit, made up of Canadian strummers with roots in Guinea, Ghana and Madagascar, brings its music to the James A. Little Theater, 1060 Cerrillos Road, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The musicians combine their individual styles into a musical collage that won them a 2005 Juno Award for World Music Album of the Year.
