Miranda, Theresa Bernadette

Theresa Bernadette Miranda, our beloved wife, mother, Mema and sister, died Saturday February 11, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 68.

She received a double lung transplant May 11, 2014 which gave her almost three more years with her beloved family.

Born in Albuquerque, NM to Juan (JJ) and Vera Torres. Theresa was the loving wife of Phil Miranda for 36 years; beloved mother of Debbie Cahill (Dennis), Gilbert Perez, Jessica Rogatsky (Will), Derek Miranda and Erica Miranda (who preceded her in death); and proud Mema of Christina Flannery, Audrianna McDonald, Eric Powers, Dawn Renee Powers, Nathaniel Rogatsky and Desarae Rogatsky.

She was retired from Wal-Mart where she was a Dept. Manager. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and always looked forward to going with her in-laws to her grandson’s baseball games. She also loved socializing with her many close friends and family. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and others who were so dedicated, helpful and kind at St Joe’s hospital in Phoenix, Arizona and the many close friends and family who helped us through the past three years.

Rosary will be at 6:30 pm, February 27th and Funeral Mass at 11:00, February 28th at Church of the Incarnation in Rio Rancho. Burial following Mass at Mt Calvary Cemetery with reception following at the Elks Club in Rio Rancho.
