Walker, Cynthia F.

Cynthia F. Walker, 69, passed away, peacefully, with her family by her side, on February 1, 2017 in Alb, NM.

Cynthia was born August 11, 1947, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Capt. William E., and Gertrude Prosser Fuller.

She is survived by her siblings, Beverly, Julia and Roger Fuller; her children, Julia and Elizabeth Walker; her grandchildren, Hunter Greene and Lilliane Walker-Grote, and many friends whom she dearly loved.

Her childhood was spent in Englewood, NJ, where she attended the Dwight School, class of 1965. She continued to The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, where she developed her natural gift of style and design, her hand for painting, and eye for beauty in all things.

She spent summers at her family’s cottage, "Homeport", in Weekapaug, RI.

Cynthia has played many roles throughout her life: caterer, counselor, fund raiser, teacher, mayan priestess, author of Freeing the Light Within: a Guide to Radiance Practice, co-author of Wind Walker, producer of the documentary, The Sodizin Ceremony, tennis coach, trapeze artist, women’s rights advocate, philanthropist, party planner & hostess, personal stylist, and Feng Shui consultant, to name a few.

Her interests included family and personal growth. She devoted much of her time and energy to caring for family members, world traveling, walking in the Bosque with her friends, moviegoing, working with various indigenous organizations, windsurfing, reading, writing, shopping, painting, learning, teaching, dancing, and most of all, laughing.
