Durand, Trinnie

Trinnie Durand, age 92, born in Torreon, New Mexico, and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Mrs. Durand was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Anna Kraus, and husband, John, and their daughter, Allison Trinity, of McLean, Virginia; son, Frank Durand, and wife, Veronica, and their son, Andrew James, of Henderson, Nevada; sisters, Regina Montoya and Jessie Garcia, both of Albuquerque; and sister-in-law, Alice Durand, of Folsom, California.

Mrs. Durand was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Andrew R. Durand. Mrs. Durand also leaves behind her devoted longtime caregiver, Jeanikra Richards, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Durand dedicated her life to making a warm and comfortable home and shared her love for others through her cooking, sewing, and steadfast nurturing.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 1900 Edith Blvd NW, followed with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Father Patrick, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Boydston, Rick Brown, Tony Bustos, Andrew Durand, Eugene Durand, Gregory Durand, James Durand, Michael Durand, Mitchell Feigenberg, Javier Garcia, Robert Garcia, John Kraus, Aaron Kugler, Jason Kugler, Phillip Sanchez, and Ryan Wheeler. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that donations be made to Catholic Charities, 2010 Bridge Blvd. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105.
