Esquibel, Susanita C.

Susanita C. Esquibel, age 92, born in, San Antonio, New Mexico and resident of Los Padillas, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017, with her loving family by her side.

Mrs. Esquibel is survived by her sister, LoLa Gallegos; children, Patricia Lopez and husband John, Yvonne Yanez, Juan Esquibel and wife Teresa, Levi R. Esquibel, Dennis Esquibel, Mark Esquibel and wife Gloria, and Luke Esquibel; twenty- five grandchildren, twenty- seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Esquibel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Levi Esquibel; and son, Ricky Esquibel.

She was a faithful servant at the San Andres and Church of the Ascension Catholic Church and served in many ministries for nearly sixty years. She loved and enjoyed singing in the Spanish choir and the City Wide Choir with family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Church of the Ascension 2150 Raymac Rd SW; with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 9:30 a.m until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension. Interment will follow at Los Padillas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Esquibel, Mark Esquibel, Miguel Yanez, Angelo Lopez, Roman Lopez, and Richard Esquibel.
