Keanu Reeves stars as Neo, a brilliant computer hacker who learns that his reality is the result of a massive artificial intelligen­ce system in “The Matrix,” which kicks off an action-packed afternoon of sequels Saturday, March 18, on AMC. In this original film, a mysterious man named Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) believes Neo can save humanity.

Sunday Elementary (13) 9:00 p.m.

Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) and Dr. Watson (Lucy Liu) take on another case in a new episode of “Elementary,” airing Sunday, March 19, on CBS. Inspired by the iconic detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, this new updated version of the mystery series takes place in modern-day New York.

Tuesday Bull (13) 8:00 p.m.

Michael Weatherly stars as Dr. Jason Bull in a rebroadcas­t of the highly rated new drama “Bull,” airing Tuesday, March 21, on CBS. Bull uses psychology, intuition and high-tech data to help firms win cases as he and his team try to figure out how to stack the odds in his clients’ favor.

Wednesday Empire (13.1) 8:00 p.m.

Lucious (Terrence Howard) launches an attack on Angelo (Taye Diggs), then announces his new music project called Inferno in this new episode of “Empire,” airing Wednesday, March 22, on Fox. Everyone is put on notice, especially Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), who vows to get back at Lucious.

Friday Grimm (4) 7:00 p.m.

A dark force with its sights set on Diana (Hannah R. Loyd) arrives in Portland, fulfiling the prophecy in this new episode of “Grimm,” airing Friday, March 24, on NBC. Nick (David Giuntoli) and Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) must work together in order to protect her.
