Water line work will disrupt service, traffic

RIO RANCHO — Water line work being done as part of the High Resort Boulevard Reconstruc­tion Project will cause disruption­s to water service over the next few weeks, according to the city.

From March 2-29, crews will be doing water line connection work on various roads as part of the project, a city news release said. Residents living in homes or apartments on the following roads will experience water service disruption­s between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. on the identified dates, and there will be traffic detours at certain intersecti­ons:

Greystone Ridge connection work March 20.

White Horse Drive connection work March 22. Intersecti­on at High Resort will be closed.

Dalmuir Court connection work March 24.

Inverness Drive connection work March 25. Intersecti­on at High Resort will be closed.

Greenock Drive connection work March 27. Intersecti­on at High Resort will be closed.

Pinnacle Drive connection work March 29. Intersecti­on at High Resort will be closed.

The city says residents will also receive door hangers telling them about the work.

The High Resort Boulevard Reconstruc­tion Project is being funded by the 2016 general obligation bond for roadway improvemen­ts in the amount of $4,055,773, and by the city’s Utility Fund in the amount of $1 million for the water and recycled line improvemen­ts.
