View holy relics at Holy Cross

The Rev. Carlos Martins, of the Companions of the Cross and chaplain at York University in Toronto, will present 150 sacred relics, some believed to be 2,000 years old, Tuesday night at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 100 Church St. in Santa Cruz.

The event starts at 7 p.m. The items in the exposition include relics from St. Maria Goretti, St. Thérés of Lisieux (the Little Flower), St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Faustina Kowlaska, as well as what’s said to be a piece of the true cross.
