Hernandez, Marcus W.

Marcus W. Hernandez, 40 went to heaven to be with our Lord and his grandparents, Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Marc was born November 14, 1976. He was a life-long resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Marc graduated from Rio Grande High School in 1995 where he excelled in baseball and continued to enjoy the game by playing softball as an adult. He was an avid Padres and San Francisco 49er fan, (no matter how bad they were). Marc loved spending time with his family, barbequing, playing softball, and throwing horseshoes. Above all else he loved his three boys and the joy they brought to his life every day.

He is proceeded in death by his grandparents Jose and Amalia Sauceda, Uncle Ben, Uncle Panch, and his cousin Santiago Sauceda. Marc is survived by his sons: Marcus, Daniel and Dominic, his parents: Albert and Leonor Hernandez, brothers: Ray and wife Shannon, Sal and wife Juanita, Godparents: Ernie and Esperanza Sauceda, Goddaughters: Sarah Hernandez and Alyssa Rose, his Uncle Rue, Auntie Dorothy and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that adored him.

The Rosary will be said at Ascension Church on 2150 Raymac Road, SW on Thursday, May 11, at 7:00 p .m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 12th also at Ascension Church. Interment will follow at Pajarito Cemetery on Coors SW. Pallbearers are Sal Hernandez, Lorenzo Sauceda, Reme Sauceda & Sophie Sauceda.
