Perkins, Iva Deena

Iva Deena Perkins, 96, beloved Mother, Grandmother & GreatGrandmother passed away on May 19, 2017. She entered into the blessedness of eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ. Iva entered this world on October 22, 1920 in Estancia, NM, born to Peter and Iva Moe.

She is survived by her son Paul G. Perkins; daughter Betty Zeiher and husband Walt Zeiher; daughter Paula George; grandson Don Byers and wife Jennifer; granddaughter Kim Barr and husband Rick Barr; and two greatgrandchildren; Jack and Sabrina Byers.

Iva was raised on the family ranch in Estancia, N.M and graduated from Willard High. After high school she met and married George W. Perkins, a resident of Mountainair, NM. Later they moved to Belen, N.M and then settled in Albuquerque where she retired from the First National bank. She was a dedicated Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. Every area of her life reflected his character. She was kind, caring and lived with integrity. She is very special and will be deeply missed. She was a member of Faith Chapel Foursquare Church in Albuquerque.

Viewing will be at French Funeral Home, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be at French Funeral Home, 7121 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM. An additional viewing will be prior to the funeral service from 12:00 -1:00 PM. A Memorial service will follow immediately after the funeral at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro N.E., Alb, NM 87113.
