White House analysts in a Wall Street Journal roundtable Sunday noticed that the only social media platform on which President Trump has no presence at all is Instagram. That’s old hat for baby boomers. Back in the late Seventies, I used Instagram when a coke dealer lived next door to me.
The Census Bureau said the U.S. birth rate was low again last year and blamed it on Millennials who are late getting married and starting a family. Before getting married today, you must ask yourself this question. Is THIS the person I want to watch looking at their smartphone for the rest of my life?
Bloomberg News said poor patient care at Veterans Administration hospitals is symptomatic of widespread decline in private hospital and elderly care. One hospice in Reseda is under investigation for mistreating terminally ill patients. During the last month, 12 of them have made full recoveries.
The Los Angeles Times said locals are worried by the crackdown on immigration. A friend posted this note on the White House website. “I’m terrified that Trump is going to deport my Latina mother-in-law who lives at 1801 3rd Street Los Angeles 90023 blue house on the corner, she gets home at six.”
