Toby J. Villanueva, 53, was born March 5, 1964, in Gallup, New Mexico to Toby and Laura Villanueva. He went home on Friday, May 26, 2017. He graduated from Valley High School in 1982. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandmothe­r Kika Villanueva. Toby was a great man full of wisdom and patience. He was always willing to help in any way he could. He was a man of integrity and when it came to his family, there was absolutely nothing he wouldn’t do for them. He was a great father to his children, and grandfathe­r to his grandchild­ren. Toby ended his working career with Coyote Gravel however he was previously employed by Intel where he received numerous awards during his tenure. For many years he understudi­ed martial arts under the famed instructor Tom Kao. He went on to achieve a third degree black belt along with several awards for two on two, and coed volleyball tournament­s. He enjoyed riding his Harley and attending concerts with family and friends.

Toby was a hard worker, at times having two or more jobs and always being a great example to all the young men in his family. Toby will truly be missed. Toby is survived by his former wife Victoria Austin, two sons, Toby and Jonathan Villanueva and their wives Felicia and Nicole; his sisters, Jeanette Villanueva, Cynthia Villanueva Brionez with husband Jose Brionez and Clarissa Villanueva; his grandchild­ren, Mia, Savanna, Jonathan Jr., Keira, and baby Toby; his Godchildre­n and nieces, Alyssa, Vanessa, Amanda, and Chelo; his nephews Sammy, Eric, Luciano, Lucas, Jeremy, and Anthony; his best friend and brother Tony Gomez; and he leaves behind countless extended family and friends.
