Garcia, Agapito Pete "Red"

1942-2017 Agapito Pete "Red" Garcia, age 74, beloved Dad, Grandpa, Brother and Uncle, passed away suddenly at his home in Bosque Farms, NM on Thursday, June 1, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Belen, NM and currently of Bosque Farms, NM. He was a veteran of the US Army. Pete enjoyed sports of all levels, especially those when his grandchildren and Betheny were participating. Pete is preceded in death by parents, David and Carolina (Sanchez) Garcia; brother, Tony "Red" Garcia; sisters, Juanita and Dulcelina; niece, Nicole "Nikki" (Garcia) Moreno; and Sylvia Palacio-Aragon. Pete is survived by his sons, Nathan (Lisa), Pete (Letisha); daughter, Joilynn; grandchildren, Amber, Jonathan, Ryan, Kodie, Hunter and Betheny Palacio-Aragon; brothers, Edenio (Corinne), Gilbert (Mary), Frank "Frankie" (Lupe); sisters, Christina Gonzales (Mike), Pricilla Tarin (Joe Isaac); and many loving nephews and nieces. Pete will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched. All services will be held on Thursday, June 8th, 2017, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. A Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a. m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Urn Bearers will be his three grandsons, Jonathan, Ryan, and Hunter. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting the offering of Masses for their dad at the church of your choice.
