Lamberson, Emma Delia

Emma Delia Lamberson, a resident of Phoenix,

AZ 1998, died on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Surrounded by family, she passed peacefully to be with her husband Ramon (Ray), who preceded her death in 2014.

Emma was born in Socorro, NM on February 20, 1931, daughter to Manuel and Theresa Chavez. She graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1949, where she met her husband Ramon Lamberson. She lived a full and happy life. She worked at American Furniture and Sears until she pursued a career as a hairdresser. She subsequently opened her own salon, and purchased another, becoming a successful small business woman. Shortly after retiring and selling her salons, she and Ray moved to Phoenix to join their daughters who had previously relocated.

Emma and Ray led a life happily surrounded by family and friends, travelling, dancing and enjoying music along the way.

She is survived by three children, Dwight Lamberson, Diane Zoller and Loretta Flores; and six grandchildren, Chad Flores and wife, Jessi, Stephanie Flores and son, Cooper, Loretta Michelle Flores, Walter Lamberson, and wife, Dayo Olopade, Andrea (Lamberson) Stam, and husband, Brandon Stam, and Zachary Zoller.

A Prayer Service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Friends and family may visit beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery and a reception will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Jewish Community Center, 5520 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
