Play in the mud in Santa Fe

International Mud Day is celebrated at Santa Fe’s Railyard Park — across the street from the farmers market — from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Slap together a fort or perhaps pat into place a mud pie at the second annual event, in which kids and families are invited to play in a special man-made mud pit as water makes its way to a grove of cottonwood trees.
