AT BOOKWORKS: Ken Waldman will read from “Trump Sonnets Volume 1” at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 1. few days after the 2016 presidenti­al election, Waldman considered Donald Trump’s surprise victory and wrote the sentence: “You make

George W. seem a statesman — this your opening trick,” and made it the first line and a half of a sonnet he titled, “To Donald Trump, from Baltimore.” Waldman wrote another Trump sonnet a few days later, then the next week wrote one more.

Celeste Yacoboni will talk about “How Do You Pray? Inspiring Responses from Religious Leaders, Spiritual Guides, Healers, Activists & Other Lovers of Humanity” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 27.

Kurt Olsson will read from “Burning Down Disneyland,” a collection of poems, at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 29.
