I WONDER IF those so-called purchasers of the luxury seats in the Pit claim those donations on their taxes and yet haven’t even made the payments. Just imagine sitting and enjoying those seats and not having to pay for them.

shocked by the lack of transparency and responsibility by both the Lobo Club and UNM Foundation in regards to answering pertinent questions asked by the Journal in regards to UNM Athletic Department finances. Should the state Attorney General’s office expand its investigation to include the Lobo Club and UNM Foundation? In light of what happened so far, it would be wise to consider it.

LOOKS LIKE THERE was a fox in the hen house. … The former UNM AD and cronies must have been horse trading for personal goods and services for the Sweet Seats in Pit. Really $430,000.00 in back rent, serve those losers an eviction notice ASAP!

WHAT A SHAME of the people with the luxury seat at the pit that haven’t made their payment yet for the last two years. What a luxury of getting to watch the Lobos play and pay years later. They should be fined and embarrassed. Lock them up. Of course, the Athletic Director is responsible.

WOW, THE UNM Athletic search committee criteria for Krebs’ replacement is more like an accountant fundraiser. How about a proven leader in the college sports world, one who knows New Mexico! An example would be Rocky Long, nationally known and respected in college sports. We need a leader, not a super salesman. It’s more than money guys! Someone the community gets behind. High school coaches, athletes, and New Mexicans really love Rocky! And he loves New Mexico. I thought it was the Lobo Club who handles the fundraising part of the athletic department.
