Cecilia LeBlanc,

66, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in her home.

Survived by her husband James (Jim) LeBlanc, predeceased by her parents, Robert and Grace Silva, and siblings Mary Ann SilvaDotts, Teresa Merriam, and Robert (Bobby) Silva. Highland High graduate,

Cecilia worked for the federal government for over forty years. Cecilia and her loving husband were stationed around the world including, Japan, New Zeland, Poland and througout the U.S. She loved to travel & meet new people whom they warmly hosted & welcomed into their home. Stories have been shared from her friends around the world, in rememberance of her beautiful smile, warm hugs, playful humor & lovely soul. One friend wrote, "We were all her honeys & sunshines & Jim the great love of her life". She retired in Albuquerque, NM in 2013 & happily spent the last years of her life surrounded by family, hosting parties & dinners, celebrating life.

Survivors include her sibilings, Fred Silva; Steve and wife Christine Silva; Michele and husband Ken Watkins; brother-in-law Dave Merriam; nieces and nephews Jeanette and husband Justin Wiseman; Steve and wife Jane Merriam; Elizabeth Silva; Desirae and husband Max Valles; Michael Silva; Benjamin Silva; and many great-nieces and nephews, and godchildren.

Mass will be held Friday, August 4th at 11:00 am, at Holy Rosary Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, Alb, NM 87105, followed by a reception at Fred’s house. Thank you all for your love, support and prayers. She is now with the angels, who have always been a part of her life.
