Season 3 of ‘t@gged’ begins filming
Duke City native creator of TV show
Hannah Macpherson is bringing back her TV series “t@gged” to film a third season in New Mexico.
The Albuquerque native created and directs the AwesomenessTV’s premium series.
“In my opinion, the crew, the actors and the myriad of interesting locations and landscapes make New Mexico the most inspiring place to tell stories,” Macpherson said. “As a New Mexico native who left Albuquerque to go to Los Angeles, the most rewarding experience is coming home to direct ‘t@gged’ Season 3 with my New Mexican friends and long-time collaborators.”
According to the New Mexico Film Office, production starts in early August and will wrap midSeptember. The series will film in Albuquerque and Jemez.
“When you get picked up for another season, you know you’re doing something right,” said New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis.” Our homegrown talent and our incredible landscapes are catalysts for bringing back another season to New Mexico.”
The series stars Lia Marie Johnson, Lulu Antariska, Katelyn Nacon and Timothy Grandaderos. Local actors Lora Cunningham and Sara Minnich also co-star.
It follows three teenage girls, Hailey, Rowan and Elisia, who become inexplicably connected after a series of violent videos are sent to them from an unknown user known as Monkey Man.
The production will employ approximately 55 New Mexico crew members, 30 New Mexico principal actors and over 300 New Mexico background talent, the film office said.
With Macpherson directing, she is joined by producers Jina Jones, Shelley Zimmerman and Don Dunn.
The first season of “t@gged” is streaming on Hulu. Its second season began in May and can be watched online at AwesomenessTV or Go90.com.
