On-air personalities at classical public radio station KHFM, 95.5:
BRENT STEVENS is KHFM program director and host of “Weekday Mornings With Brent” and “Brent’s Morning Brew.” An Albuquerque native, Stevens once served as general manager of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra.
KATHLENE RITCH is at the mic weekdays for “My Midday Show” and on Sunday mornings for “The Sacred Hours.” A Santa Fe resident since 2011, vocalist Ritch has sung with the New York Philharmonic, the London Sinfonietta, the Vienna Philharmonic and the Santa Fe Desert Chorale.
AMY HEGARTY guides listeners through “Afternoons With Amy” on weekdays. Long Island, N.Y., native Hegarty trained as a violinist and has extensive writing and editing experience. She has worked as publications editor for the New York Philharmonic and as editor of
the Santa Fean, a bimonthly arts and culture magazine. She has lived in Santa Fe since 2010.
DAVID SINKUS is host of “Weeknights With David,” Monday through Thursday, and is at the mic from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturdays. As an actor, he worked as a teaching artist for the New York City companies Roundabout Theatre and Lincoln Center Theatre and performed in La Scala Opera’s production of “West Side Story.” He lives in Corrales.
JOHN MICHAEL LUTHER, a musician and a composer, is at the helm for “Classic American Icons” on Friday evenings and for “Weekend Afternoons on KHFM.” His compositions have been performed by musicians with the Philadelphia Orchestra, San Diego Symphony Orchestra and the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, among others. He lives in Bernalillo.
