Rosendo Romero "Carretas" February 12, 1928 - September 26, 2017. Rosendo Romero, proud lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away at home in the South Valley.
Ross was born in Madrid, NM, and raised in Albuquerques neighborhood of Barelas. After service in the U.S. Army, he returned to Albuquerque and worked with the U.S. Postal Service. Ross had a wide-ranging 30-year career with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District, serving as a photographer, printer, EEO Officer, and as an informal community services troubleshooter.
