I AM

a Lobo fan, and the husband, father and fatherin-law of three UNM graduates. I also am a veteran and I take serious offence to athletes or anyone “taking a knee” during the playing of our national anthem. While I recognize the right of athletes to express themselves in this manner, I hope they will recognize my right to not ever attend another Lobo football game while this gesture is displayed. GH
