Lois Arlene Brunton, 85, beloved wife, mother, grandmothe­r and great-grandmothe­r, was called to her eternal resting place on October 17, 2017. She entered this world on March 12, 1932 in Lincoln, NE, born to Charles and Verna Fenn. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Donald Brunton; and her two sisters, Vivian Colletti and Normajean Johnson. Her remaining sister, Wilma Boudet lives in NC. She is survived by her son, Dean and wife, Jan Brunton; and daughters, Carol and husband, Phil Blackshear, and Jeanette and husband, Robert Poerio. She also leaves behind six grandchild­ren, seven great-grandchild­ren; and many family friends whom she considered her extended family. Lois was a loving and generous woman. While living on the Navajo Reservatio­n, she was co-founder and librarian of the Window Rock public library; she practiced silversmit­hing and made beautiful jewelry, taught children in Sunday school, and was a 4H Leader. She loved gardening, knitting, reading and supporting her family. All who came to her home were welcomed and accepted.

A Memorial Reception will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00 a. m. at FRENCH – Wyoming. Immediatel­y following the reception, those who wish will proceed to the National Cemetery in Santa Fe for the interment of both Lois and her husband, Donald Brunton.
