When Snow Tha Product goes out on stage, she goes out with a vengeance.

The Latina hip-hop lyricist continues to up her live show, although she knows when she has to step back.

In fact, last week Snow Tha Product played to a sold-out crowd in New York City.

And she lost her voice after the show. “It’s pretty rough,” she says quietly of her voice. “I don’t have many days off, but I rest my voice when I can. I just shut up until I have to perform. I am aware I can’t take it that hard all the time.”

Snow Tha Product — born Claudia Alexandra Feliciano — is an MTV VMA award-winning Latina lyricist and emcee.

Born in San Jose, Calif., to undocumented Mexican immigrants, she raps in both Spanish and English while incorporating creative melodies reminiscent of ’90s-era R&B.

She social media-savvy as well. With over 58 million views on YouTube, 2.4 million fans on Facebook, 633,000 fans on Instagram, the Atlantic Records artist has a legion of loyal fans awaiting her new releases.

She flexed her political activism muscles through her contributions to the song “Immigrants (We Get the Job Done)” from the popular Lin-Manuel Miranda album “The Hamilton Mixtape.”

Earlier this year, the video won “Best Fight Against the System” at the MTV VMAs and currently has more than 3.8 million views on YouTube.

Her most recent single is “Nuestra Canción Pt. 2” featuring Arcángel.

Snow Tha Product says her writing has been on point and her emotional maturity has opened up for her to speak more about relatable subjects.

“Now I’m making songs and concepts,” she says. “I think the main struggle as an artist is in writing, because sometimes you have to think about the people in your life that will be affected. I think when you finally let go, that’s the best option.”

Snow Tha Product is constantly making music.

In fact, she’s pushing her way to a fulllength album in the coming months.

And she’s been contributing to various mixtapes that are being released on YouTube.

“There’s no resting for me,” she says. “I’m more comfortable than ever now. I can see the growth in the music.”
