Edward (Ed) C. Jungbluth

Edward C. Jungbluth (Ed), 83, beloved husband of 50 years to Mary Hobbs Jungbluth (Mimi) went home to be with the Lord after a long illness on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

Ed was born in Lincoln, NE on January 22, 1934.

He joined the US Marine Corps on September 9, 1953 and served in the Korean Crisis.

Ed and his wife, Mimi spent most of their lives in Texas, Colorado and New Mexico. He was involved in Chambers of Commerce and the Tourism Industry. While in Santa Fe, NM, he served as Tourism Director for two past governors.

For the past 13 years, Ed and Mimi made their home in The Albuquerque Meadows 55+ Community Park where Ed was Assistant Manager and Manager of the park. He served his community well after his retirement; sharing his love of people and the Lord. Ed served on the Residents Association Board of Directors for several years.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held at the Albuquerque Meadows’ Community Room located at 7112 Pan American E Fwy NE, Albuquerque at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. He will later be laid to rest at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
