Michael "Mike" Anthony Gonzales

Michael "Mike" Anthony Gonzales, age 61, died Saturday, November 11, 2017 after a battle with cancer.

He is survived by his mother, Veronica Gonzales; siblings, Barbara Fuller and husband, John, Dorothy Garcia and husband, Ted, and Theresa Gonzales; nephews and nieces, Adam, Benjamin, Daniel, and Michael Fuller, Dominique and Ted Garcia Jr., Victoria Coverdale, Anthony Boddy, Angelo Gonzalez, and David Gonzales; numerous other relatives and friends; his four furry friends; and his 1968 TR250, and his 1953 Ford F100. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Gonzales; and brother, Ernest Martin Gonzales.

He was born in 1956 in Albuquerque and graduated from Eldorado High School. Mike had a passion for cars and was the past President of the New Mexico Car Council. He was a loving son, brother, outstanding uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Friends may visit Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 6:00 p. m. until a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at San Ignacio Catholic Church, 1300 Walter St. NE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam, Ben, Daniel and Michael Fuller, Ted Garcia Jr. and Theresa Gonzales. Honorary Pallbearers are his close friends, Mr. and Mrs. Paul McLaughlin, Frank Corey, and George James.
