Josephine Rodriguez Sustiata

Josephine Rodriguez Sustiata, age 93, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was born in Austin, TX on August 27, 1924, to Gregorio Sustiata and Francisca Salinas. She enjoyed going to casino’s in Albuquerque with her daughters, son and her friends. She was a woman who enjoyed and lived life to the fullest.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio Sustiata, Francisca Salinas; children, Nadine Holcomb, John; grandson, Tony Rodriguez.

Josephine is survived by children, Jessie Dunn, Mary Lou Garcia, Candida Rodriguez, Guadalupe Sanchez, Erlinda DeSotell, Rita Sosa, Castulo Rodriguez, Jr.; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; sister, Simona Nunez, three half brothers and five son-in-laws.

Visitation will take place Friday, November 24, 2017, from 8:00 am-8:30 am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 am, Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park following service.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth, Dean, Gene, Joey, Jerry, and Little Robert. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby J. Rodriguez, Michael J. Elliott and Cody A. Elliot. Josephine will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. To view information or leave a condolence please visit www.danielsfuneral.com
