Ron O. Garcia

Ron O. Garcia, age 65, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his beloved wife, Aida Garcia; children, Orlando Garcia and wife, Heather, Ronnie Garcia and wife, Michelle; granddaughters, Emilia Garcia, Brianna Garcia; sisters, Donna Garcia, Loretta Williams; sisters-in-law, Mary Benavidez, Lorraine Brown; brothers-in-law, Tom Otero, Anthony Otero and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his parents, Orlando and Leona Garcia and his parents-in-law, Porfirio and Josie Otero.

Ron was loved dearly and will be missed by all his friends from high school, golfing buddies, coworkers from the city of Albuquerque, UNM and all of the community.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 24, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 9:15 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m., Interment will take place following services at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Venable, Greg Benson, Pete Benavidez, Joey Kozlowski, Mark Williams and Jeff Wood.
