Jose A. (Tony) and Cecilia O. Gonzales

Jose A. (Tony) and Cecilia O. Gonzales, ages 87, residents of Albuquerque for 26 years, went to be with their Lord on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in the same way they lived their lives--together.

They are survived by their children, Lupita Aragon, Veronica Estrada (Eddie), Antoinette Montano (Alex), Joseph Gonzales, and Reuben Gonzales (Wayne); nine grandchildren, Michelle Gutierrez (Harlan), Melissa Roybal (Fernando), Annette Delaney (Tony), Matthew Montano (Erica), Daniel Aragon (Angel), Kenneth Gutierrez, Pamela Commins, Erlynda Martinez (Eric), and Sandra Gonzales; and eighteen great-grandchildren. Jose is survived by his siblings, Amparo Cohn, Josephine Gonzales, and Juan I. Gonzales and Cecilia is survived by her sister, Arabella Lujan. Tony and Cecilia also left numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and countless friends in Taos, Questa, Las Vegas, and Albuquerque. They were preceded in death by their beloved grandson, Miguel Aragon.

Tony and Cecilia were long-time members of The Shrine of St. Bernadette. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Rosary will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017, 9:00 a.m. at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11509 Indian School Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. A Reception will follow at the Parish Hall. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
