The (Gildan New Mexico) bowl game has a 2:30 p.m. kickoff and the Lobos vs. Arizona Basketball game has a 6 p.m. start time. — RM THE (NEW MEXICO STATE) Aggies’ last bowl game was in 1960 when their record was 11-0 and they were ranked No. 17 in the country. They beat Utah State in the Sun Bowl, which was much more than a minor bowl at the time. Now that’s something to get excited about. 6-6? Not so much! — PD

COACH JEFF TEDFORD inherited a 1-11 Fresno State football team and got them to the Mountain West Conference championship game with a bowl game coming up. Coach Bob Davie took a 9-4 Lobos team and made them into the doormat of the same conference. I was wondering if the conference has a coaches exchange program. — North Valley Wally

WE HAVE TO HAVE two SEC teams in the playoffs? I think most of the selection committee went SEC schools or are from the southeast. In the last weeks of the season Ohio State played stronger especially when Alabama was playing another cupcake at home. Also, 2 teams should not be allowed since more of the country should be represented. — JL
