Reuben Young

1950-2017 Reuben Young, age 67, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Los Lunas, NM, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017. He was a member of San Jose Community and had a great number of family and friends who reside in the Albuquerque and Los Lunas area. A very respected and loved man in both communities, and was well known for his generosity and hospitality for all.

Reuben was preceded in death by his mother, Vickie Epperson; brothers, Robert AKA Tiny and David; sisters, Kathy Lorraine, and Mary Francis AKA Kika. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Maria D. Young; brother, Leroy Epperson; sisters, Peggy Hernandez, and Josephine Martinez; only daughter, Victoria; sons Bobby, Richard, and David; grandchildren, Michael G., David Jr. Robert G, Cheyenne Y, LeAnn Y, Richard N, Richard M, Aubrie M; and one greatgranddaughter, Athena G.

All services will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. A Final Viewing will begin at 8:00 a. m., with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. Interment will follow at San Jose De Armijo Cemetery.

The family will have a reception at David’s house following interment at 2364 Mares Rd, SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105.

Pallbearers will be Richard and David Young, Michael Garcia, David Young Jr, Robert Garcia, and Richard Nieto. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Young, Nathan Chambers, and Leroy Epperson.
