Prescilla "Pre" Moretto Reddick

Prescilla "Pre" Moretto Reddick, age 93, beloved wife, mother, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on January 2, 2018 and was taken to her heavenly home. Born in Albuquerqu­e, NM, Pre grew up in Corrales, NM and graduated from Albuquerqu­e High School in 1943. She married Air Force Sergeant Chandler Reddick in 1953 and traveled by his side to Florida and later to Washington, DC where her two sons, Kenneth and Paul were born. Upon his military retirement, Chandler and Prescilla settled in Albuquerqu­e to raise their family and be close to Pre’s sisters, Rose Beaumont, Josephine Troy, and Jennie Carpenter. Family and friends meant the world to Pre and through summer campouts, holiday celebratio­ns, and big family get-togethers she bestowed the gift of wonderful memories to her sons. She moved with her husband after his retirement to Pensacola, FL and made new memories there with his large extended family whom she dearly loved. Pre is best remembered for her warmth and social nature and the joy she took in being with others.

Prescilla was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her son, Paul Reddick and his partner, Damien Tourville, her son, Kenneth Reddick and his wife, Dinah; granddaugh­ter, Leah Thomas and her husband, Benjamin; and great-grandson, Windel Thomas. She is also survived by her sister, Jennie Carpenter; and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.

A memorial service will be held for Pre on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11:00 a. m. at FRENCH – Wyoming. A reception will follow. Prescilla will be interred with her husband at the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL later this year.
