Kevin Lee Bradshaw, 57, passed away on January 12, 2018 at Presbyterian Hospital due to multiple causes.
He was born in Wichita, KS on December 2, 1960. Kevin is survived by his parents, Dr. Martin D. Bradshaw
(Betty Jo), of Placitas and Doris Joan Stineman (Richard) of Newton, KS; along with two sisters, Debra Sue Cannon (Bryan), of Corrales and Janell Diane Martinez (Daniel) of Placitas. In addition, he leaves his uncles and aunts, stepsisters and stepbrothers, along with many nieces and nephews in states across the country.
Kevin excelled in baseball as a catcher. As a youngster, he played Little League, Babe Ruth League and then high school baseball at Sandia High where he graduated in May of 1978. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in May of 1982 from the University of New Mexico.
Kevin worked at Sperry after graduation, and then became an independent photographer, finishing his working days at Life Touch International photo studios for 18 years. There, he was the coordinator for high school yearbooks for northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado. He was very active in Toastmasters International and an avid bicyclist. In later years, he became a voracious reader.
Although limited in his later life by mobility problems, Kevin never lost his indomitable spirit. He was a gregarious, fun loving individual who was well liked by everyone who knew him. Kevin will be sorely missed.
