We both saw two touchdown reception calls (during Super Bowl LII) that could have gone either way. Roger Goodell (NFL Commissioner) even stated that the rules committee needs to start over in rewriting the controversial catch rule. Current and former NFL players are befuddled when a questionable catch is made. I’ve always known most rules for all of the major sports. I can definitely tell when a homerun is hit and a bucket is made. However, a touchdown catch in the NFL is more confusing than brain surgery. − Hunchback Jimmy
