I WONDER if the APS kids on the “wrong side of the tracks” schools would have had a riot like Cibola-Volcano kids did, would they be labeled hoodlums and thugs. I think so, if you’re from the middle/higher income schools it’s just a rivalry getting a little out of hand and kids will be kids. − APS teacher “on the wrong side of the tracks” COACH WEIR,

lets go back to “great eight” or “nasty nine.” Keep number 2 out of the lineup. − Disappointed Fan

ONE HAS to wonder how big of a bonus check Blaney got for blocking the field on the last lap of the Clash at Daytona. For his sake, hope it was a big one! − JEH

I WANT to thank JJK for proving my point last week.

We both saw two touchdown reception calls (during Super Bowl LII) that could have gone either way. Roger Goodell (NFL Commissioner) even stated that the rules committee needs to start over in rewriting the controversial catch rule. Current and former NFL players are befuddled when a questionable catch is made. I’ve always known most rules for all of the major sports. I can definitely tell when a homerun is hit and a bucket is made. However, a touchdown catch in the NFL is more confusing than brain surgery. − Hunchback Jimmy

IT IS so good to see the paid attendance (12,989) at [Feb. 10] Aggies game in Cruces. That team is so tough and the fans are getting it. Jones is a beast. He’ll play at the next level too. − Ken in Tijeras
