A FAMILY CAMPAIGN, the public is invited to sponsor a family with a tax-deductible financial contribution to the Rio Grande Food Project. THE SOUTHWEST, is seeking volunteers who love choral music to help support the singers at concerts throughout the season. All concerts are held in area churches. The schedule is very reasonable. Looking for individuals who are 18 and older, who are cheerful and kindhearted, who can accept direction from staff, and are who are physically able to be outdoors in all seasons helping to propel people in wheelchairs in various settings for day trips. PAWS THRIFT STORE, a local nonprofit project of Cottonwood Cats Sanctuary, is seeking volunteers to work in three-or four-hour shifts in the store located near Menaul and Washington. Proceeds from the thrift store support a planned sanctuary (permanent home) for cats who outlived their human caretakers/owners. This sanctuary will also provide a permanent home for geriatric cats who have failed to be adopted at other local shelters.
