Isleta Resort & Casino offers guests a chance to ‘fill their mitts with cash’
Grab some “Mitts of Money” every Sunday from March 11 to April 29 at Isleta Resort & Casino. Patrons have a chance to win up to $1,000 in cash. One winner will be chosen each hour from noon to 8 p.m. Sundays for a chance to “fill their mitts with cash,” according to an Isleta press release.
Isleta is “Cleaning Out the Closet” on March 30. Guests who earn 250 points will be eligible to join the fun in the Isleta’s Ballroom. Patrons can select up to two gifts during the promotional day. This promotion will run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 11 while supplies last. Isleta continues its “Love Bugs” promotion through March 24. Enter to win cash and qualify each Friday and Saturday for your chance to win a new Volkswagen Beetle, which will be given away on Saturdays.
Isleta’s seafood buffet has returned to the Tiwa Restaurant. Every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. guests can enjoy seafood favorites including crab legs, shrimp, salmon and more for $26.99 for adults and $16.99 for children ages 10 and younger. Isleta prepares 800 to 900 pounds of crab legs, 140 to 150 pounds of prime rib, and 400 to 500 assorted desserts for this event. Isleta serves about 350 guests every buffet night. It takes three kitchens to accomplish a seafood buffet night, which Isleta turns over into stations. Each kitchen or station is assigned cooks and supervisors who are responsible for certain menu items throughout service, according to an Isleta press release.
There is plenty happening at Isleta for poker enthusiasts. Players can be part of the Poker Winter Classic every Saturday through March 31. There will be a $200 added money tournament at 7 p.m. The winner of each Saturday night event will receive an entry into the $3,000 finale on Nov. 31. The Isleta poker room will hold hot seat drawings every hour between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Thursdays. There will be $50 in chips given away during each drawing. The Isleta poker room will host its “Black Chip Payoff” beginning Sunday and running through June 24. Guests will have their chance to win $25 in chips every Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.
Bingo players can get in on some luck of the Irish fun during St. Patrick’s Day bingo on March 17. The $7 all-you-canplay pays $300 to $700 in cash and the $2 Lucky 7 game pays $300. “March Hoopla Bingo” will be happening all this month. The $4 all-you-can-play pays $400, and the $8-a-pack pays $800. The special Fast Break Package is $40 and the Slam Dunk Package is $60. Packages include regular games and specials. The bingo room will be closed on March 9 and March 23.
Isleta’s non-smoking sister location, Palace West, will be holding its “Jacks of Cash” promotion beginning on Sunday, March 4. The promotion will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday through April 24. Guests have a chance to win up to $500 in cash. One winner will be selected every hour for a chance to choose their prize icon.
