MUSIC Los Tres Reyes to perform at NHCC
Los Tres Reyes, founded in 1957 by classically trained guitarists and twin brothers Gilberto and Raul Puente, also include lead vocalist Bebo Cárdenas. The trio is noted for contributions to the development of the romantic music genre in Mexico during the 1950s and 1960s.
The trio will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
The concert, the 10th in the Pimentel Music Series, also features Trío América de Albuquerque.

COMMUNITY Yelptropolis kicks off Revolutions
Yelptropolis launches again. The annual festival is back at the Historic El Rey Theater, 622 W. Central, at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 3.
The event celebrates local artists, creative genius, performers, and people who breathe soul into our sundrenched city.
This year, Yelptropolis opens the Tricklock Revolutions International Theatre Festival, with donations at the door benefiting the nonprofit mission to introduce Albuquerque to a world of performance.
MUSIC Guitar hero stops in ABQ for show
For more than 30 years, Tinsley Ellis has been a bona fide guitar hero. He’s back with his latest album, “Winning Hand” and will make a stop at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at The Cooperage, 7220 Lomas NE.

EDUCATION Science Cafe to focus on habitats
You know what the ponds look like, but do you understand why they look the way they do? Join the ABQ BioPark staff for a discussion on the biological processes and management strategies in place at Tingley Beach. The event is part of the Science Cafe, in which the community can learn about different topics. It takes place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Tingley Beach Station, 1800 Tingley Drive SW. The event is free.

MUSIC Dead Meadow to perform at Sister
California-based psychedelic warriors Dead Meadow release its new album, “The Nothing They Need,” today. And on Saturday, March 3, the band returns to Albuquerque for a show at 9 p.m. at Sister, 407 W. Central.
The band released the first single, “Keep Your Head,” recently.

CLASSICAL Música Antigua to perform in Santa Fe
Música Antigua de Albuquerque will perform “Seven Deadly Sins” at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at Christ Lutheran Church, 1701 Arroyo Chamiso, Santa Fe.
Música Antigua’s program will highlight works from several medieval manuscript sources.

COMING UP Learn to fly a drone
Look up to the sky. The city of Albuquerque is hosting a “Learn to Fly Drones” for beginner levels at noon on March 10 at the Balloon Museum, 9201 Balloon Museum Drive NE.
Presented by certified instructors from Colibri Flight Academy, this course is designed for beginner pilots ages 8 and up. Training includes setup, use of flight controller, in flight performance and crash prevention, and maintenance procedures.
