attending the MWC or WAC tournaments in Las Vegas for the first time in years. Just happens there are two good basketball teams both boys and girls from Los Lunas in the state tournament at the Pit. It would be nice if the Journal would publish the brackets as they progress. You might even sell a few more newspapers. Good luck Lobos and Aggies I will catch you guys on the tube! — DS, Los Lunas UNM’S ATTENDANCE problems in the Pit began when the approximate 3,500 theater type seats in the balcony were removed during the $60 million renovation and replaced with the now half-empty suites. (Mr. Nuñez, tear down these suites.) All of those fans had to be relocated. Most of them relocated to their living rooms to watch the games on TV, the internet (absurd), or put Paul Krebs and UNM in their rear view mirrors. For newcomers who think that the recent crowds have been loud, imagine 18,018 fans in attendance. Now that made for one loud building. — NM Old Timer
