Dad, I keep thinking I can call you and you will answer my call. And sometimes I drive a different route to your house because I can’t bear to drive the same way. I love and miss you so much and I know mom misses you more. I loved you first, Dad.

John "Rick" Pope

Today is your 58th birthday. It’s still hard to accept you aren’t here. We all miss you so much. Time slips by and life goes on, but from our hearts you’re never gone. We think about you always and talk about you too, we have so many memories, but we wish we still had you! Happy Birthday, Rick 3/7/60-4/7/16

I look up to the sky and talk to you... What I wouldn’t give to hear you talk back. We love you and miss you so very much. Love, Mom and Dad
