-

William Lloyd (Bill) Walker, 70, left this world on Feb. 26th, 2018 to join his recently departed wife on their next adventure. He is survived by his sons, Dustin and Chris; his brother, Rick and his sisters, Barby and Donna; as well as many loved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Enid Walker; his brother, Johnny Walker; and most recently his loving wife, Sue Ellen K. Walker. Bill was born in Chicago, IL on June 13th, 1947 where he grew up until moving to Albuquerque, NM with his family as a teenager. He was a Boy Scout and a soldier, a hippie and an ordained minister, a business owner and a caregiver, a husband and a father. Bill was a mentor and friend to everyone he met. He loved to laugh and brightened every room he entered. He was smart, funny, lovable, and caring. Bill traveled the country on a small motorcycle, whereupon he met and fell in love with Sue Ellen Killpatrick, his bride of over 47 years. They had an amazing life together, living in the mountains in a commune; living, loving and learning at a Bible seminary in California; teaching Bible studies in New Orleans; moving to North Carolina and then back to Albuquerque; roofing with his brother, Johnny and then his son and partner, Chris. Bill and Sue spent an amazing half-century together. Through thick and thin, good times and bad, he never left her side. The family is sure the she was calling him to her. He will be greatly missed.
