Trevor Thomas Robert Duhon
Trevor Duhon was born at Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV on February 22, 1990 and died on March 16, 2018. Trevor attended Del City High School where he was on the swimming and tennis teams and was also a mascot for Kerr Junior High. He was a leader academically and in many organizations at school. Trevor was also an Eagle Scout. He graduated as a valedictorian in 2008. He then attended the University of Central Oklahoma and Rose State College where he received an associate degree in Clinical Lab Technology. He went back to UCO again and was ready to complete one last class for a Bachelor in Organizational Leadership. Trevor started his cancer journey at 11 years old with pnet, a type of brain and spinal cancer. He relapsed at age 22 and again at 25. He died from cancer and the side effects from treatment as a child. Survivors include his parents, Tom and Donna Duhon and sister, Ashley Duhon. He also has many uncles, aunts, and cousins with many New Mexico connections. Trevor’s greater family includes the fellow members of Sunnylane United Methodist Church, coworkers at Del City High School, where he worked as a para-professional for the special needs class, and fellow employees at the Target in Midwest City. Trevor was on the board of the Oklahoma Children’s Association, was a counselor for Camp Cavett, and was on the Patient Experience Advisory Council board at the Stephenson Cancer Center.
