PETS OF THE WEEK
ESPAÑOLA HUMANE
Waiting for a home at Española Humane is Leo and he’s a little love. He is a happy and sweet year-old dog who likes going on walks in the moonlight, but loves snuggling up on the couch. He is also a smart boy, who is active and playful. He seems to get along well with other dogs, but a meet and greet is always a good idea. His previous owner became ill and could no longer care for him. He is already neutered and ready to go a new, loving home.
Mozart is kind-hearted and will be as devoted to his human as he is to the people here at the shelter. He is 3 years old and came to the shelter as a stray. His favorite things are relaxing with friends and getting pets behind the ears and on top of his head. Mozart’s special features are sweetness and a gentle catsonality; he uses his litterbox in the shelter and has no history with children or dogs. He needs a calm and loving home, perhaps with a cat buddy.
These two and many others may be adopted daily from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at Española Humane, 108 Hamm Parkway in Española. 505-753-8662. To see more adoptable pets, log on to www.evalleyshelter.org or www.petango.com.
