Patsy Sue "Pat" Bradshaw, 88, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Albuquerqu­e, NM. She was born November 22, 1929 in Wilson, Oklahoma to her mother and father, Fairie and Hoyt Turner. Pat began school in Oklahoma and moved with her family to Albuquerqu­e, NM when she was 12. She graduated from Albuquerqu­e High School in 1947 where she was active in musical theater and choirs. After high school Pat worked at JC Penney & Public Service Company of NM. In 1949 she married Robert "Bob" Bradshaw after his graduation from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Electrical Engineerin­g.

Daughters Deborah and Kate were born in 1951 & 1952. Shortly thereafter the family moved around the country pursuing Bob’s career. They lived in Ohio, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, Santa Fe and Nevada finally settling in Los Alamos, NM in 1960 where Bob worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Pat found her true home in Los Alamos. She loved the mountains, pine trees, wildlife and her many friends. Upon retirement in 1991 Pat and Bob moved to Albuquerqu­e to be closer to their children and grandchild­ren.

Pat devoted much of her life to the Order of the Eastern Star serving as Worthy Matron of Los Alamos Chapter #63 in 1967, as Worthy Grand Matron of the State of New Mexico in 1977-1978, and as a member of Turquoise Chapter #71 Rio Rancho, NM. She also held national appointmen­ts in the General Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was active in PEO, Daughters of the Nile and volunteere­d in many community organizati­ons. Pat was active in music, singing in several trios, choirs and performing at many functions. She was a talented seamstress, making many costumes for her children and grandchild­ren. Pat’s family will always remember her as a beautiful woman with impeccable style. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Deborah Bradshaw and Kate Bradshaw; grandchild­ren Alexis Davis, Justin Robison and his wife Allison Yates, William Robison and his two sons, Isaac and Andres, her great-grandchild­ren. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law Bruce Theunisson and Gene Nunn; and nieces and nephew Nancy Whitenack, James Bottorff, Diana Trook and husband Dennis, and Joyce Leavitt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her two sisters, Oeita Theunisson and Peggy Nunn; her brother-in-law Jimmy Bottorff; and her nieces, Linda Causey and Jackie Hogue.

A celebratio­n of Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at French Funerals & Cremations, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW in Albuquerqu­e, NM 87114. She will be interred at a private service.
