Patricia Eberhard

-

Patricia "Pat" Eberhard, 81, of Albuquerque passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, surrounded by family.

Born Patricia Louise Harper in Sheridan, WY on January 9, 1937, the family soon moved to Cameron, MO where Pat and her three younger sisters were raised on a farm. The family moved to Farmington, NM in 1953 and Pat graduated from Farmington High School in 1954. Pat married Robert "Bob" Eberhard in 1986 and they settled for good in Albuquerque’s North Valley.

Pat was a career secretary and bookkeeper known for her blazing typing speed and pleasant demeanor. She was loved everywhere she worked. In their off hours Pat and Bob enjoyed camping, bird watching, and taking long drives. This continued into retirement where they were frequent visitors to Bosque del Apache, Escondida Lake, and the Gila National Forest. They were particularly fond of driving the Enchanted Circle of northern New Mexico and the back roads of the Jemez Mountains and central New Mexico. When not on the road, their other great passion was spoiling their family rotten, especially their grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents James Lloyd Harper and Ruth Alice Harper of Farmington, NM and sister Carol Simpson of Aurora, CO.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years Robert Eberhard; sisters Shirley Saavedra of Albuquerque and Joyce Renfro of Waldo, AR; sons Walter Guy Stallings and wife Debra of Albuquerque, James Michael Stallings and wife Deborah of Chandler, AZ; stepsons Robert Morton and wife Lynda Shey of Rio Rancho, David Eberhard, John Eberhard, and Mike Eberhard all of Albuquerque, and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

No formal services are planned, but an informal get-together for family and friends will be held at a time to be determined later.
