Mary Pauline Solga (Maus)

Mary Solga became an angel on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the age of 99 years and 99 days.

She was born in Ganado, Arizona, January 13, 1919.

She graduated from high school in Farmington,

NM, where she met Charles Solga. They were married on December 26, 1940. They were partners in life until his death in 1987.

Family always came first, mom to everyone. She had the ultimate job of providing a stable home for her family. She was active in the Catholic Church throughout her life. Her organizati­ons included TOPS and Roadrunner­s Extension Homemakers Club. She loved to travel, listen to music and watch sports.

She is survived by her children, Mary Anne Pixley, Lois Miller, Dorothy (Bob) Hatten, Charlene Casey, Tom (Sandy) Solga, John Solga and Beth Solga, 18 grandchild­ren, 26 great grandchild­ren and one great, great grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty Burrus and Margaret Lesky and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Samuel Maus; her brothers, Howard, Samuel and John Maus; sister, Ellen Smith and niece Barbara Gifford.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2018 at 5:45 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. and a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming. Mass and burial will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, 7999 Wyoming NE, Albuquerqu­e, NM.

Max Corrie, age

92, a resident of

Los Lunas, NM passed away on April 21, 2018. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Albuquerqu­e.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Oneta Corrie and daughter, Allyne

Cox.

He is survived by his son, Chuck and wife Barbara Corrie; grandsons, Sean Cox, Clint Corrie, and Charlie Corrie; granddaugh­ters, Shannon Teske and Colleen Corrie; Great-granddaugh­ters, Kirsten Cox and Haley Teske; and son-in-law, Bill Cox and wife, Geinny.

A celebratio­n of life service will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 11515 Lomas NE, Albuquerqu­e, NM 87112. Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:15 AM on May 1, 2018. Special thanks to Becky Jaramillo and Harmony Home-Care for their care and compassion for Max.
