THE NEW MEXICO SOCIETY OF ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVES (NMSAE) presents its second annual health care forum, The Business of Healthcare and the Health of the
Business, from 9 a.m.-1:15 p.m. on Friday at the Crowne Plaza Albuquerque, 1901 University NE. The forum will feature a bipartisan panel of New Mexico legislators, and a national health journalist speaker. The program will begin with panel presentations by House and Senate leaders and will conclude with a keynote luncheon address by
Carrie Fiebel, health editor, KQED, the NPR station in San Francisco, presenting a national perspective on the Affordable Care Act and other health-related issues. Expected legislative panelists include Sens. Candace Gould, Stuart Ingle, Gerald Ortiz y Pino, and Liz Stefanics; and Reps. Deborah Armstrong, Rebecca Dow, and Liz Thomson.
