San Diego’s border wall was besieged by Central American asylum seekers Monday who claim that they are fleeing political persecutio­n, random gunfire and drug gang violence in Honduras and Guatemala. It’s not right to allow them to enter the country. It’s just too dangerous for them here.

The U.N. Report on Global Traffickin­g in Humans said 40 million people around the world are being held in slavery. That’s no longer possible in the U.S. After the Civil War, Congress passed the 13th Amendment, making it illegal to buy anybody who is not in Congress.

The National Geography Bee will be held in Washington, D.C., next week and will be televised on National Geographic. It shows how smart kids really are. In the West Coast finals, held last week in Los Angeles, they asked which country has 40 names for snow and every kid answered Colombia.

Dr. Harold Bornstein of New York speculated that President Trump ordered his medical records seized from his office last year after it was leaked that Trump takes a drug for hair growth. The drug is Propecia. The label warns that possible side effects include dizziness, dry mouth and impeachmen­t.
