Author, her well-traveled dogs have their day
AT TREASURE HOUSE BOOKS & GIFTS: Joyce Fay will sign “The Adventures of Bro & Tracy” from 1 to 3 p.m. today. Accompanying Joyce will be a couple of her canine friends.
The book tells the story of the author as she travels through the Southwest with her two dogs. It has been republished and is available now, to benefit Bro and Tracy Animal Welfare Inc.
Gloria Casale will sign her thriller “Bioterror: The Essential Threat” from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 12.

FRIENDS FOR THE PUBLIC LIBRARY will hold its monthly used book, DVD and CD sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the Main Library, 501 Copper NW. Admission is $2, free after noon and free for children. In addition, the group will hold its semiannual $5-a-bag sale, which includes all items, from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 13, at the Main Library. Admission is free, and bags are provided. There is no limit on purchases.
