Entrepreneur stories show character of immigrants
RE: ARTICLE “Immigrant Endeavors” in (the April 30) Business Outlook section.
Many thanks to the Albuquerque Journal and to Kevin Robinson-Avila for (his) great article on enterprising immigrants in Albuquerque. It certainly reflects my opinion that the vast majority of immigrants to this country are desperate to improve their and their families’ lives and are willing to work very hard to make that happen. Over my years here I have met many of these folks and, again, the vast majority are just like the ones described in your article.
Few things make me angrier than people who rail against immigrants as being deadbeat welfare-seekers. And they certainly are not rapists and murderers.
